International cyclocross season is now underway and so is dedicated website run by Konrad Manning

Cyclocrossrider.com goes live, partners Behind the Barriers TV

Cyclocrossrider.com, an online journal of the cyclocross world, its race calendar and product, is now live.

Edited by UK Rapha Super Cross co-founder Konrad Manning, the site’s coverage has kicked off with the spectacular Cross Vegas race meeting – part of the annual Interbike trade show.

Cyclocrossrider’s chief photographer Kristof Ramon was in Las Vegas last week and the site published his renowned images from stateside within two hours of the race end. Jeremy Powers won the 2012 Cross Vegas race and battled superbly in a thrilling race to finish third behind Sven Nys this year.

The launch was also marked by the announcement of an exclusive distribution partnership with Behind the Barriers TV. Behind the Barriers TV (BTB TV) is owned by American ‘cross champion Jeremy Powers and shares a common aim with Cyclocrossrider.com – to promote and grow the exciting sport of cyclocross. BTB TV produces films covering American cyclocross from every angle – from live race coverage to behind-the-scenes looks at the athletes, rider interviews, tech features and produced the worldwide live webcast of the Cross Vegas races.

Cyclocrossrider is the exclusive UK media partner of BTB TV and will publish the films to its own growing audience through its website and social media channels. From its first three days of operation, Cyclocrossrider told BikeBiz it already has over 3,500 unique users.

Cyclocrossrider brought the Cross Vegas action and controversy to life for those of its readers, including those who stayed up for the live broadcast through its link to BTB TV.
