Cyclingnews podcast off to strong start

Cyclingnews’ weekly podcasts have been downloaded 16,000 within the first four weeks, according to Future Publishing.

Available through both iTunes and direct from the Cyclingnews website, each podcast analyses and discusses the latest news from the professional cycling world.

In the near future, Editor Daniel Benson and his BikeRadar counterpart Jeff Jones will be creating podcasts from the Spring Classics such as Tour of Flanders and Gent-Wevelgem. In July podcasts will form part of Cyclingnews’ coverage from the Tour de France with in-depth daily race analysis from the Cyclingnews and Procycling magazine teams.

Daniel Benson, managing editor of Cyclingnews said:
“The podcasts are an exciting new element to the fast-growing Cyclingnews website. Alongside our extensive race coverage they will become a vital part of the unique mix which has made us the focus of professional cycling online.”
