Cycling sweeps the board in BBC awards bash watched by millions

The National Lottery’s 10th Birthday celebration bash was watched by tens of millions of people on the BBC1’s lottery programme on Saturday night.

The main gong was picked up by John Grimshaw, CEO of Sustran’s and the charity’s chief engineer.

In other categories, the cycle-related schemes which carried the day were the Millennium Coastal Park in Wales, a magnet for cyclists, and Community Can Cycle of Glasgow.
