Visitors to the Cycle Show will mix with gold medal winners and record-breaking round-the-worlders. Trade-only day is Thursday

Cycle Show to wow visitors with cycling celebs

The Cycle Show starts Thursday for pre-registered members of the bike trade and the press. The show takes place at Earls Court.

Friday through to Sunday is when the celebs will be wandering the show, from David Millar to Shanaze Reade. There’s a full list here.

BMXer Reade is one of the celebs to be wheeled out for school kids on Friday’s ‘Bikeability Day’. Bikeability is Cycling England’s ‘cycling proficiency for the 21st Century’.

9 to 11-year-olds will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of cycling for their health, the environment and the community.

The show is ten percent bigger than last year, with an expanded list of exhibitors, including all of the major players in the UK bike industry.
