Upper Street Events, organising company of the NEC-set Cycle Show, has revealed that this year’s event will have a record number of stands.
The team told BikeBiz that they’ve virtually sold out of space for September’s event.
It’s not just smaller firms joining the ‘15 show. This year’s showing includes Schwalbe, Lapierre, Oakley, Cycling Sports Group UK (with GT, Fabric and Charge), Hunt Wheels, Canyon, Planet X, Light Blue and Surly, among others, set over Halls 10, 11 and 12.
Event director Chris Holman told BikeBiz: “This is by far the largest number of exhibitors the show has ever had in its 13 years which is just fantastic. We welcome on board some great first-time exhibitors including Swift, Canyon and X-Bionic plus the return of the likes of Hotlines, Schwalbe, Ison, and CSG who’ve haven’t been with us for a few years. It’s very gratifying to see the growing support and I’m particularly happy to have Charge on board to see what Nick has come up with for his latest show stopper!”
