Germany-based event kicks off today, with industry experts, seminars, exhibitions and demos

Cycle industry heads to Bike Expo

The Bike Expo event begins today at the new Munich Trade Fair in Germany.

The trade show runs across today and tomorrow, and is thrown open to members of the public over the weekend.

This year’s event is primarily focusing on Pedelecs and electronic bikes following a strategic deal between Bike Expo and Extra Energy e.V. – an international market resource for Light Electric Vehicles, according to the show organisers.

The wider industry will also be represented at Bike Expo and other highlights of the show will see a trail show with Danny MacAskill and the chance to see some elite MTB and BMX riders, including the UK’s Sam Pilgrim, Lance McDermott and Ben Hennon.

Industry relevant topics will also be discussed in seminars, featuring experts from the global trade. For more on the event head to the official site.
