Cycle Alert signals its support for debut Cycling Media Awards

Cycle Alert is the latest brand to back the first ever Cycling Media Awards, which take place next week.

Cycle Alert is a clever safety awareness system, encouraging safer travel on the roads with three components: a sensor fitted to a bicycle, a sensor fitted to a vehicle and a dashboard receiver. The three components combine and communicate, notifying a driver when a cyclist is in close proximity.

The brand is category sponsor for the Cycle Campaign of the Year award at the 2014 event.

“With the launch of the first Cycling Media Awards, Cycle Alert has an opportunity to commend the cycle campaigns, campaigners and people who inspire our work; that keep the sport we love developing into something that is safe, sustainable and inclusive,” said Cycle Alert marketing project manager Danni Lapham.

The awards evening takes place on Thursday October 16that The Bloomsbury Ballroom, London. The UK’s top cycling media has been invited to attend – from a mix of mainstream media, national press, TV and radio and specialist outlets.
