The media coverage of Cycle 2002 was excellent in the run-up and during the show, and now the pre-recorded programmes are starting to appear, including the coverage on today’s Working Lunch (which definitely has a soft spot for cycling).
Cycle 2002 was featured positively on BBC2 and BBC24 on Saturday and Sunday.
On the Friday afternoon of the show, LBC, with a listening audience of 400,000, broadcast a two hour live programme of interviews and features on the Ana Boulter show. The show organisers have since had a letter from the programme’s producer saying how well it went and thanking them for providing interviewees such as top-roadie David Millar.
Next year’s show will be staged 25-28th September. 78 percent of this year’s exhibitors have already booked their stands for 2003.
Visitor numbers should be available by late this afternoon.
