Cuda Bikes partners with The Triathlon Trust, to ‘help get children active’

According to research carried out by The Triathlon Trust, just 23 per cent of boys and 20 per cent of girls meet the national recommended level of activity, and one in five children start primary school overweight or obese, rising to one in three by the time they leave.

The Triathlon Trust was created to encourage children and families to get more active, using the engaging sport of triathlon. The Trust delivers triathlon-based activities to around 30,000 children a year and its reach extends across the UK.

Moore Large and Cuda have provided the Triathlon Trust with a pool of 55 bikes, ranging from Cuda’s 20-inch model – suitable for a five-year-old – up to 700c wheel bikes.

“Our Cuda brand was an obvious choice when fulfilling the requirements of the Trust for many reasons,” commented a representative of Moore Large. “The main being that it’s really important that the bikes used by the trust are not only lightweight and easy to ride, but are also robust and easy to maintain. The Cuda Performance range is just that and we know the bikes will be enjoyed by all with their vibrant colours.”

The Triathlon Trust will be showcasing the Cuda Performance bikes on the British Triathlon stand at the London Triathlon Show from February 23 to the 25.
