Money will aid Stephen Murray's ongoing rehabilitation costs

CSG donates Christmas card budget to StayStrong

Not received the Cycling Sports Group UK Christmas card this year? Not to worry, you’ve not done anything wrong, the distributor has donated the card budget to the Stay Strong Fund.

Most people in the bicycle world are aware of Stephen’s situation, as his life-changing accident happened back in June 2007 – but for those who may not, please read on.

Stephen is a proud Geordie and raced BMX to world-class level from an early age. He moved to California to pursue a progressional career in BMX and was regarded as one of the best dirt jumpers in the game, winning three gold medals, X-Games titles, and inventing some of the tricks that helped shape the sport.

Stephen was sponsored by GT Bicycles when he had his tragic accident; a slipped pedal during a double backflip during competition, resulting in a broken back and paralysis below his shoulders.

Stephen remains a true inspiration to all those who have encountered him, but his specialist rehabilitation costs remain. The Stay Strong Fund has been kept in the limelight via the merchandise and marketing efforts of the Stay Strong brand alongside Stephen’s close family and friends.

If you would like to join CSG in supporting Stephen you can donate via the Stay Strong website, or make a purchase of Stay Strong merchandise; www.stysrg.com/stephen.html
