Paligap and R J Chicken & Sons join the eight high-end suppliers who last year created the single-venue hotel trade show, Core Bike. Resisting the temptation to book an expo hall and fill it with suppliers of second-tier brands, Core Bike remains in the West Brom Moathouse.

Core Bike expands…but not excessively so

Kona and Tifosi bikes, and the P&A brands of Paligap and RJ Chicken & Sons, will be displayed at the West Brom Moathouse, 22-24 January 2006, alongside the products from Silverfish, Ison, Windwave, Extra, Raw, Hope, Upgrade, and MMA.

"Core Bike combines the personal time and attention from suppliers that you might receive at a single supplier show, but with an unprecedented selection of the UKÂ’s top bicycle and P&A brands at one nationally central location," said a statement penned by the ten.

"No existing single UK trade supplier can come anywhere close to matching the impact that the Core Bike exhibitors have on the UK market place. By co-operating together the Core Bike exhibitors are committing to boost the knowledge stream to IBDs, enabling them to drive forwards harder and faster in todayÂ’s competitive market place."

As well as the chance to pat and paw 100 brands – including Ritchey, Mavic, Campagnolo, Hope, Rocky Mountain Bikes, 661, Manitou, Maverick, Race Face, Topeak, Marzocchi, Halo rims, Maxxis, Rohloff, Easton, and DMR – there will be technical seminars to attend.

"Core Bike is the easiest, friendliest and most cost effective way of allowing IBDs to see a large amount of brands and distributors without wasting money and time out from the shop at single supplier shows," said the Core Bike statement.
