The Haro brand got a PR boost today from BBC Radio 2 Breakfast DJ Chris Evans.
As part of Evans’ regular ‘Friday Sporting Challenge’ the former TFI Friday host raced co-host Jonny Saunders at the Hayes Hawks BMX track in Middlesex.
Olympic BMX Rider Liam Philips tutored the duo in the skills of BMX racing, with both presenters riding on Haro bikes.
Evans’ show has a weekly reach of 8.14 million listeners and the video of the race is hosted on the BBC Radio 2 site here.
Ahead of the challenge, Evans said: "I’m off to try and not break any bones BMX’ing. I fear the worst."
