Moto GP hopeful to use firm’s bike for training

Bradley Smith to use Pro-Lite bike

Bradley Smith is to use a Pro-Lite bicycle in training for the forthcoming Moto GP.

Smith has to cycle extensively to maintain a high level of fitness to compete and the bike will travel with him and the Aprillia team around the world during the 2010 season, providing Smith with ample opportunity to train.

Pro-Lite CEO Steve Fenton presented the new bike to Smith.

"Having met Bradley at the Shanghai Moto GP in 2008 and watched Bradley develop over the last two seasons, it makes me very proud to support a fellow Britain in his pursuit of becoming world champion,” Fenton enthused.

“Bradley is showing all the signs of becoming the next Barry Sheene and if we can help him in achieving that goal, then we will do everything we can to assist him."

Smith said: "Went out on the bike today, made a few adjustments on the ride position; it was a beautiful bike to ride. So quiet and really smooth."
