Bosch has announced a range of improvements for 2017, including improved e-bike systems service in the UK, a new marketing manager and a partnership with Magura.
From the beginning of February, Bosch e-Bike Systems will offer customers an improved customer care service in partnership with Magura UK. Operating from the new Magura subsidiary in Leicestershire, Bosch will improve the turnaround times for servicing and warranties, supplying parts to e-bike retailers and regular dealer training.
Bosch and Magura have established a long-term partnership on various technical support and distribution efforts; this new dedicated UK offering will improve the overall service for customers in Britain.
“By extending our service partnership with Magura in the UK, we can bundle resources and use our know-how to ensure optimal service conditions for the retail trade,” said Armin Harttig, head of sales and service at Bosch e-Bike Systems.
The brand has also announced the appointment of Chris Astle as the new Bosch e-Bike Systems marketing manager for the UK. Astle brings over ten years of cycling experience to the team, as well as his ongoing and previous marketing qualifications.
Astle will be attending Corebike to meet with Bosch e-Bike Systems retailers. He will be accompanied by Mark Haylett, UK e-Bike Systems technical representative, who will be on hand to discuss products.
