Basque news channel Euskal Irrati Telebista has reported that a small explosive device was detonated at the Spanish-owned BH factory in the Basque city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Interior Department of the Basque government attributes the attack to the Basque seperatist group ETA. BH is the bike sponsor of the Liberty Seguros team. Team leader Roberto Heras won this year's Tour of Spain but since then one of his urine samples has tested non-negative for EPO.

Saturday night’s bomb blast caused minor damage on the company’s entrance door and facade.

Liberty Seguros team leader Roberto Heras of Spain won his fourth Vuelta a España earlier this year riding on a BH carbon bike.

Earlier in November he was informed he failed an EPO test from stage 20 of this year’s Vuelta. He has protested his innocence and is currently waiting for the results of the EPO test on his ‘B’ urine sample.
