Bill Nichols passes away

Bill Nichols, a veteran of the cycling industry, has passed away suddenly on March 23rd at home. 

Nichols started in the trade in 1978 when he opened W Nichols Cycles as a Raleigh 5 star dealer in Birmingham. After closing the bicycle shop in 1986, Bill worked for Holdsworth, BikeRack and Newman Distributors. 

After being made redundant, Bill set up Nichols Agencies. Bill went on to introduce many brands to the UK market including Sigma, Wilier Triestina, Marwi, Humpert and Miche. He also represented Sturmey Archer and SunRace.

Bill leaves behind a loving family in his wife Rosemary, Will and Ben.
