Ben Delaney to head up site due to launch June 2012

BikeRadar.com is coming to America

Future US is bringing the UK’s BikeRadar.com to the United States, featuring localised content, including bike technology, news, features and reviews.

BikeRadar’s existing editorial team, based in Boulder, Colorado, will be bolstered with the arrival of Ben Delaney as the US editor-in-chief. Formerly of VeloNews.com and Specialized, Delaney has 13 years of journalism experience in the cycling arena and is an avid cyclist.

Like the UK site, BikeRadar US will be pitched as a comprehensive resource for all cyclists, featuring product news and a large reviews and information database, downloadable routes as well as online communities.

“The US is a prime market for biking media, and it was only a matter of time until Future expanded the BikeRadar property specifically for the States,” said Future US COO Rachelle Considine. “We are confident that cyclists in the US will come to enjoy BikeRadar’s content as they have in the UK.”

BikeRadar will launch in the US in June 2012. According to Future, BikeRadar globally attracts more than 3.1 million unique monthly visitors, with US-specific unique visits topping 600,000 per month.
