Sorry for the lack of news today, Bikebiz.co.uk is at the annual publishing conference of the Periodical Publisher's Association at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. Will this site scoop the top award at tonight's awards ceremony, or, if we don't win, should comfort ourselves by the mere mention in the same shortlist as some very illustrious company?

By midnight tonight we’ll know whether Bikebiz.co.uk has been awarded honours in the PPA’s publishing excellence awards, the Oscars of the British puboishing industry.

We’re up against some stiff competition. The probable winner? The website of Estates Gazette, a site run by 45 staff and published by Reed, the biggest trade mag publisher in Europe.

Anyway, tune in tomorrow to see whether Bikebiz.co.uk at least gets a mention in dispatches…
