The national media has been alerted to a Bike Week photo-call with Minister for Transport John Spellar and Steven Norris, Chair of the National Cycling Strategy Board. Bike Week isn't until 15-23 June but the advance photocall is a full month earlier.

As well as the pedalling politicos, there will be a backdrop of bikes, bikes and more bikes.

"This will demonstrate the diversity of events taking place during Bike Week," said Bike Week organiser Nick Harvey.

The photocall is at Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions, Eland House, Bressenden Place, Victoria, London SW1.
