The Haymarket Events show moved from the NEC to Stoneleigh Park and lost 3000 visitors in the process. Haymarket said the 25 000 visitors was a "very solid platform" for the 2006 show.

Bike Show ‘took a hit’ moving to Stoneleigh

In 2004, at the NEC, there were 28 357 visitors.

This year, with the move to the Roayl Agricultural Showground, near Coventry, there were 25 053 visitors.

George Foster, the Bike Show’s marketing manager said this 3000 drop was "an extremely positive result considering

the change of venue. It provides us with a very solid platform to build on for 2006."

The show stays at Stoneleigh Park.

"We’ve made the move, taken the hit, can now move in the right direction to get the figures back up to 2004/3/2 levels," said Foster.
