BikeBiz.com is a seven-day-a-week news service for the global bike industry (because the world doesn't stop at the weekend).

Bike-shops work weekends; so do we now

BikeBiz.com has often broken stories at the weekend but we’re now starting an official seven-days-a-week news service. Why? Bike shop staff work at weekends so we should too!

BikeBiz has always been noted for its innovation. In 2000, BikeBiz.com was joint runner-up with BBC.co.uk in the European Online Journalism Awards for our WAP news and jobs service (this was a revolutionary-for-the-time web do-dah for pre-iPhone mobile phones).

Our non-stop quest to be the very best in the business means we publish a sometimes dizzying number of daily news stories – in the first five days of February we pumped out an staggering 37 news stories.

With that many stories it can be hard to keep up so join the 15,000 other industry members who subscribe to the daily round-up email. It’s free, and when big stories break you also get news-flashes so you’re always in the know.

Prefer to keep up to speed via social media? Our Twitter channels continue to grow – @bikebizonline has 16,600 followers, our executive editor @carltonreid has 17,800 followers.

The annual BikeBiz Awards bash is the industry’s very own Oscars; award winners flag their successes on company websites and on email strap-lines.

If you’re after a job in the industry (or need a position filled) there’s one place that gets more views than any other and that’s the BikeBiz Jobs Board

Need an address? The annually printed BikeBiz Directory is rightly chained to desks (and workbenches) in bike companies across the UK.

The monthly print mag is as packed with features as ever, including comment pieces that aren’t afraid to ruffle feathers. Prefer bits and bytes to dead trees? The latest print mag is always available as a PDF download.

You can even get BikeBiz on your iPad or smartphone.

Our new seven-days-a-week news service is just one small part of the BikeBiz package. In a competitive world where you’re only as good as your last article it’s reassuring to know that the BikeBiz editorial team never rests.
