The app store on iTunes features apps for planning tube, plane, train and bike journeys.

Bike journey plan apps on iTunes

The Bike Hub app – which soon morphs into the world’s first vibrating cycling satnav – is one of five apps in the ‘Bike’ section of the new Journey Planner feature on iTunes.

The other sections include journey planning apps for air and train travel and for London underground trips.

The flight journey planners include apps from British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Three of the bike apps are London-specific. The Cyclestreets and Bike Hub apps are national in scope. Both are free.

The Bike Hub app – which has a bike shop locating function for the whole of the UK – is owned by Bike Hub levy scheme via the Bicycle Association and the Association of Cycle Traders.
