‘Bike fitting’ iPhone app now available

A bike fitting application called ‘SizeMyBike’ is now available in the iTunes store, here.

Six measurements are taken into account and from there the gadget can calculate the optimal size and geometry best suited to the rider. The measurements taken for calculation are the sternum, inseam, shoulder width, arm and foot length, as well as the rider’s height.

Costing $4.99, the application is recommended to those looking for guideline measurements for their road or mountain bike.

The software is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iPhone OS 3.1.3 or later.
