Cyclescheme will be running a 'new to biking' Commuter Challenge as well as an e-bike demo

Bike Bath is back this month

Cycling weekend Bike Bath is returning to the city this month, celebrating cycling with a number of different rides and activities planned over June 22nd and 23rd.

Local company Cyclescheme is running the Bike Bath 20-mile Commuter Challenge for the second year, inviting people to get on their bikes. Ideal for novice riders, the Challenge takes place largely over traffic free routes (90 per cent) from Bath to Bradford on Avon.

Cyclescheme will also get behind the e-bike sector with a demo on Saturday June 22nd, with chance for the public to try out an electric bike.

"We are over the moon to be supporting this fantastic local initiative," said Cyclescheme director Daniel Gillborn. "The 20 mile Commuter Challenge is a great opportunity for people who are rediscovering cycling or have built up their confidence and fitness level through regular commuting.

“We will also be showcasing the latest in e-bike technology at our event stand at the Bath Recreation Ground. People will be able to have a go on this exciting new equipment and find out more about the excellent savings that can be made on bikes of all kinds with Cyclescheme.”
