Be One’s marketing and sales director Dennis Weijers said: "Bas was already involved in other Be One export projects in Canada, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Finland. Having won world cups in Downhill and 4X, Bas knows exactly what a good bike is all about."
The bikes will be shipped from the Be One warehouse in the Netherlands, which is also where de Bever will be based.
He will touch down in the UK for dealer visits and MTB races.
"I’m really looking forward to all this, being one quarter British," said de Bever.
"I always had a special bond with the Brits."
Alongside bikes, Be One will distribute Zero wheels, Point Racing P&A and Tange Seiki products via its wholesale operation, BikeRight.
