This week's Core Bike Live will have all these and more in a pre-Eurobike preview

Banshee, Colnago, Kona & Storck 2016 debuts at Core Bike Live

This week sees Core Bike Live debut, running tomorrow (Tuesday August 4th) and Wednesday at Core’s traditional home in Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.

As well as a classic Core-style inside expo offering pre-Eurobike previews, there will be an outdoor demo area where dealers can try out new bikes (dealers wishing to demo bikes should bring with them shoes, helmet, pedals and photo ID).

STORCK
Storck British distributor Storck Raddar UK will be showing the latest line-up of Storck’s engineering-led road and mountain bikes at Core Live.

The new models come after a strong year for Storck, the firm said, with substantial year-on-year growth through the same number of specialist dealers. At Core, Storck UK will present the first fully assembled bikes at key price points, while International Storck sales manager Kai Hundertmark will be attending to discuss the latest Storck Developments which will include a brand new ‘Endurance’ road bike.

Storck will be bringing a number of Road and MTB models for Dealers to test ride, plus presenting a new marketing programme to consumers and marketing support programme for dealer partners.

Colnago
Core Live will see the UK debut of the 2016 bike ranges from Colnago and Transition Bikes plus the latest P&A from BBB Cycling, Dainese, Elivar, FSA, Morgan Blue and Vision, via Windwave.

All-new for 2016, the Colnago CLX has been designed using an all-new carbon fibre monocoque frame that uses high quality materials and craftsmanship that channels over 28 years of carbon fibre know-how, the blurb says. Colnago designed the CLX to offer a balance of comfort, frame stiffness and light weight. It features an oblique, oversized tube set that increases bottom bracket stiffness with a conical seat tube that uses a 27.2mm seatpost to increase comfort. The CLX also features Colnago’s ThreadFit82.5 bottom bracket system, carbon fibre drop outs, internal cable routing and is available in 8ight sizes. The frame weighs only 950 grams and the CLX will be available to demo ride as well as view in the Expo.

Transition Bikes
Fresh of the back of a hugely successful ‘Giddy Up’ 2015 bikes, the 2016 range will see some new colours with updated build kits that now include complete bike as the entry level model, plus ‘a few new surprises’, we’re told. The Transition Patrol, Scout and Smuggler models will also be available in the demo area with pro rider Chris Smith offering tips and maybe a few tricks on Tuesday 4th August.

Elivar
Core will see the first UK look at Elivar sports nutrition, Elivar is the world’s first range of sports nutrition tailored specifically for athletes and active sports people over 35.

Elivar has teamed up with world class nutritionists and food scientists to develop Elivar for people who want to keep on enjoying their sports and performing as well as they possibly can. We will be releasing the race proven Legend 650 which is exceeding our world cup racers expectations. And we have also focused a lot of our efforts on the quality and finish of our products to take them to the next level."
