It may be lovely right now but it aint gonna hold. The weather experts are predicting a lousy weekend (although Bank Holiday Monday should be finer).

Bank Holiday washout?

"There is going to be lots of heavy rain across the country, particularly south west England, Wales, parts of the Midlands and northern Ireland, says a PA weather spokesman said:

"There will be virtually a complete wash-out. But it is probably going to be nicer on Sunday."

Most of the UK enjoyed above average temperatures yesterday but Saturday will be wet.

However Monday promises to be settled and sunny so lets be thankful for small mercies…
