The Australian BMX brand Pilgrim, famed by Jed Mildon’s triple backflip aboard a customised top-end model, has joined Avocet Sports.
Retailers are now able to take stock of the line, which covers entry level, opening at best-selling price point £399.99 and spans intervals through to £799.99 for the aforementioned line-topper, the Quest.
Targeted at the advanced 20-inch rider, the Quest carries Colony brand aftermarket finishing kit, a CNC Cro-Mo fork, 48-spline cranks and top-end Alienation rims.
The entry-level doesn’t scrub up too badly either. The Protégé has a few Pilgrim parts, such as saddle and sprocket, Tektro brand brakes and Kenda tyres. Designed for eight to ten year olds, the bike has a lower than normal bar, tough three-piece crank and micro gearing, as well as trendy plastic pedals.
