Australia’s BMX industry bands together with fundraisers in wake of Cyclone Yasi

The Australian BMX industry is to band together for a series of fund-raising jams to provide aid for those affected by Cyclone Yasi, which for the past few days has torn through Queensland and other north-eastern areas.

Nine fundraisers, all scheduled for February 20th, are to take place with support from a growing number of industry firms.

Spanning 300-miles, the Cyclone has caused devastation through high winds and widespread flooding, with one confirmed fatality, to date, and many missing.
