Ausbike kicks off this weekend

Melbourne-set Australian two-day trade show Ausbike opens this Sunday.

The debut Ausbike Australia Trade Expo is set to take advantage of Australia’s growing cycling scene. According to the show organisers, bike sales were 38 per cent higher (at 1,401,675) than motor vehicle sales (at 1,012, 640) in 2008 – the ninth year bike demand has outstripped motor vehicles.

Manufacturers, suppliers and buyers from Australia, New Zealand and Asia will attend the show, including Garmin Australasia, Schwalbe, Endura and Shimano Australia.
