ASSOS will work with the Stan’s-Pivot Pro Team for ’18

The UCI World Cup MTB team will debut in ASSOS Club Gear, including the Club Gear Aero Jersey, T.Equipe bib shorts and Laalalai bib shorts, at their first event of the season – the Andalucia Bike Race on February 25 to March 2. The team will be outfitted year-round in additional ASSOS performance apparel for all weather conditions and will be involved in product development and launch of upcoming, relevant products.

“Sponsorship of the Stan’s-Pivot team was the result of our vision to work with a program that would be in ASSOS 365-days a year and that we can partner with longer term and looking forward to Tokyo,” said ASSOS global brand and digital marketing director Chris MacKay. “We wanted to create more consistency for the riders by providing them with ASSOS apparel year round and solidifying a committed partnership. This in turn means the athletes don’t have to question if their equipment is going to change or fail, and the riders can focus on looking ahead to success in 2020."

Stan’s-Pivot heads into 2018 with two additional racers: Sofia Gomez-Villafane and Keegan Swenson, making up a four person roster that will effectively compete on both an international and domestic event calendar. Keegan, along with Chloe Woodruff, will focus on the build up to Tokyo 2020, committing to a full World Cup calendar, while Sofia and Rose Grant will specifically prepare for the most visible domestic races.
