Forme Bikes is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a limited edition hand-built top of the range bicycle, valued at around £7,000, for the price of a £10 raffle ticket.
The competition is raising funds for Action Medical Research on their Champions of Cycle Sport Event later this year in November. Actioon is a children’s charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies and children.
The bike in question is Forme’s flagship Flash Frameset. Housed on the frame is the spectacular limited edition Campagnolo 80th Anniversary Groupset, Campagnolo Bora One Wheelset and a 4ZA Cirrus Pro Finishing Kit.
Forme Bikes’ Andy Liversidge said: “Having worked with Action Medical Research many times throughout the years, and personally having witnessed their great work and how professional and well organised the Sportive Series of events are it really is a pleasure to be able to once again work closely with them to make a difference.
"At Forme Bikes we’re different to many brands in today’s UK market because we’re a British company, who design and test all our bikes that enter bike shops up and down the country right here in Derby, England. This gives us a huge amount of adaptability when it comes to working with fantastic people on some great projects like this one.
"One lucky cyclist for a £10 raffle ticket could get their mitts on a ride that I think eclipses some of the bikes in this year’s Tour Peloton – valued at nearly £7000. A British Designed brand using the Italian flare of Campagnolo, it’s not the norm of the industry and we think the two complement each other so well. We [Forme] use Campagnolo groupsets on many of our current models, and have done for several years now, we plan to continue doing so for years to come.
"We’ve got great working relationships with people like Massimo & Raffaele of Campagnolo and they have really helped in bringing the whole project and this amazing bike together. The Record 80th Anniversary Groupset is simply a spectacle. The heritage behind the technology and brand is unbelievable and something to be hugely admired. We documented the whole bike build on video and we’re looking forward to releasing that within the next week or so, the edit is going to really capture what this bike build is all about so keep an eye out for that. Good luck to everyone who enters, and here’s to hoping we raise lots of money for a great cause. ”
